With all of the added things to find time for during the holidays, selling a home can seem an additional job we may not have time for. There are benefits though to selling during the holiday season and certainly things to be mindful of. Continue reading

The Difference Between a House and a Home
The difference between a house and a home is you. The memories, the pictures, the furniture, even the paint color combine to create a unique blend that reflects your own personality and style. Improvements and accessories personalize, improve and/or allow for added functionality that a house may not have had before. Navigating Downtown Austin
Last week I spent a bit of time downtown for work and play. For work, I showed some condos in the Posada Del Rey condominium community at 505 W 7th Street. If you haven’t heard of this community, that is partially due to its small size and has units available for lease more frequently than for purchase. There is a housing shortage which has existed for years.
There is no bad time to sell in Austin. Sellers are always excited by the for-sale sign being placed in the yard. It is milestone for sure, but in order to reach that point – you need to be ready. When this list is complete – it’s time to sell: Continue reading
Put Your Smart Phone to Work When Moving
Schools are back in session and traffic is back to normal which can be helpful when trying to estimate how long it takes to get from point A to point B. If you are looking for a home in a new area, I always recommend using the navigation app on your smart phone.
Real Time Data
Type the proposed area of your new home to your work address, at the time you leave for work. Reverse the search again at the end of the day. Doing this a few times will help you start tracking drive times to and from the area you are considering moving to. Continue reading
