The number of homes for sale in Austin is definitely headed in the right direction when looking at month-over-month numbers in all of Central Texas.  As housing inventory rises throughout the greater Austin real estate market, prices will continue to rise, but at a slower rate.  Clearly, the demand for Austin real estate is still high, but more supply is helping and will continue to help in the coming months.  Interest rates have been slowly ticking up, but still, at rates we haven’t seen in over a decade, it’s still a great time to buy.
